Superb location just a few blocks away from the city center, yet in a peaceful and safe neighborhood. Early 1900's cozy apartment with high ceilings, old wooden floors, a wooden loft and an open view to the street with a bay window. Attractions like National Museum, Parliament House, Olympic stadium, Temppeliaukio Church, Finlandia Hall, Helsinki Music Center and the Opera nearby. You’ll see a church, cheese store and local grocery store from the apartment window. The space The apartment is perfect for one or two persons with a double bed (150 cm wide) on the loft, and a comfortable pull-out sofa divan that can be made into a bed for 1-2 more (140 cm wide), you’ll have a dining table in front of a bay window. The windows can be opened and the table is extendable. There is an open bar kitchen. I'll provide pillows, blankets, sheets and towels for my guests. Please note that the ladder to the loft is very steep going straight up to the bed, so let me know when booking if you would prefer that I make the bed on the sofa instead. The living room has a 40" HD Flat Screen TV (with two HDMI ports, one USB and place for a CI card) and a two speaker home theater system with radio. Wi-fi has been available for my guests since August 1st, 2016. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer (camouflaged as a cabinet under the loft), a microwave, a coffee/teamaker (Dolce Gusto pods), a toaster, a dough roller machine, a 2-plate stove/oven, pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils. You’ll find a basket for your picnics on the loft. There is a small bathroom/toilet with shower and a heated towel rail. Please note that the bathroom is small and you’ll be showering in the middle of it. A shower curtain protects the towel rail and toilet paper from getting wet. There will be toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo for you to use. There is a laundry room in the house. Guest access The apartment is for your use only. There is a laundry room in the house. Other things to note I will be available to provide you with the keys during check in hours. PLEASE NOTE: If you are arriving outside check in times or I am not able to meet you at the apartment when you arrive, then the key pickup is facilitated through an exclusive, cost-effective taxi service, when available. For only 42 EUR (subject to change), a dedicated taxi will pick you up directly from the airport, take you to the apartment, and provide you with the keys. This convenient taxi service is of course also available during normal check in hours according to agreement.
