Description
Old Shop Cabin is a beautiful and relaxing place from which to enjoy Hay-on-Wye (the famous book town) and the wonderful countryside of the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons, and Herefordshire's Golden Valley. The cabin is the perfect place to come for a couples getaway. It is totally self-contained, has ample off-road parking and also has its own completely private, south-facing garden with a tranquil view looking out onto the village church. The space Old Shop Cabin is full of light from its big picture window and large double doors. It has fast fibre broadband and a TV ready to stream iplayer, ITV player and Channel 4 as well the option to log into Netflix and Amazon. There is a comfy double bed with individual bedside lights and view to the garden and beyond. The oak table for two is just right for eating or working from and is beside the well-equipped kitchenette that has two induction hobs, a microwave, a George Forman grill (for toasted sandwiches and grilling meat and vegetables) as well as a kettle, toaster and fridge (with a freezer compartment). The two-seater leather sofa is the perfect place to unwind as it has a direct view through the double doors to the pretty private garden and the village church with its tall spire and ancient trees. The en-suite bathroom offers the option of a shower or a long relaxing bath. Outside, the cabin enjoys its own entirely private south-facing garden with a lawn and a generous decked terrace. The outdoor table and chairs make for a great place to enjoy a morning coffee while again taking in the beautiful view. There is a firebowl that can also a BBQ for outdoor eating or marshmallow roasting! Guest access Guest have private access to the cabin which is set within its own private garden.
