300-year-old Tuscan vacation home, 5 hectares of land

Very personally renovated stone farmhouse by Tuscan lovers in 2nd generation, small pool, 5 acres of land, vineyards, 200-year-old olive groves and wild nature, 4 separate, individually furnished bedrooms and a separate bedroom extension with its own terrace, large bathroom, 2 toilets, old wine cellar, large studio barn. The property is ideal for 8-10 people, but also for couples because of the absolute unique location, own wine and olive oil products, vegetable garden, 3 terraces, quiet. The space The house and the land there are animated, a lot of nature, a family living there in the neighborhood, who is there for all questions of the guests, is always available, but you are completely on your own. No luxury, but a lot of charm and loving details that have been created there in 2 generations. We have been living hospitality with friends, artists, and dear people there for 30 years. The house is spacious, has five individually different bedrooms, a large classic round arch living room with original Tuscan fireplace, large bathroom, chestnut wood ceilings and terracotta floors are preserved and maintained in the original everywhere. Outside, a 12 sqm pool keeps a refreshingly cool temperature even in August due to its depth (not filled between October and May - if desired, please mention in the booking request). You can see far into the valley on the highest mountain in Tuscany, Monte Amiata. For children, the vast land with forest, natural spring in the valley and the pool and 5 acres of land is ideal for experiencing adventures. Hundreds of entries and drawings in our 5 guest books for 30 years testify to this :-) Cozy kitchen equipped with all the basic foodstuffs to replenish, in-house wine and olive oil. We don't have TV but we do have Internet. Guest access The whole main house with both floors, upstairs 4 individual bedrooms and downstairs large living room with round arch and open fireplace, large bathroom/toilet and cozy kitchen, an extension with separate entrance with two bedrooms, own pergola shaded terrace and own sink. 3 terraces, 5 acres of land. Kitchen with access to all basic foods (please refill after use :)). If necessary and in consultation, there is also access to the wine cellar, and the large barn with additional sleeping facilities or as a venue (if desired, please mention in the request). The barn is about 80 square meters but unrenovated. Other things to note In Bossolino, we strive to create a place that is in harmony with the nature that surrounds the house. You live there with crickets, cicadas, nightingales, praying mantises, lizards, and rarely to be found: deer, barn owls and porcupines. It may therefore also be that the dear animals are more present than in a city apartment. If you are sensitive, please address concerns in advance. The water is from our own spring and good, but officially may not be used as drinking water: an initial supply of still water is provided in the refrigerator. Likewise, all of Bossolino's own products can be found: first-class organic olive oil as well as organic Rosso di Montalcino... to name just the most important ones. The access is easy to master for every normal car on the last few meters as an unpaved road, very sensitive drivers or low-lying cars can be problematic here. We recommend arriving in daylight for the first time and having the route plan printed out. We also recommend booking more than 3 nights, otherwise you will regret having to leave again :-)
