Birdsong Cottage - native forest retreat

A large, quiet and private two-story house all to yourselves, on the edge of town, in a small remnant of protected mature native forest with its resident bird life. Soak in the sheltered private spa pool and listen to the birds for accelerated relaxation. The space The house is not wheel-chair accessible - sorry. There are several steps up to the front veranda and front door. There are stairs to the upstairs bedroom, which is open (mezzanine style). Also upstairs is a small bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. Downstairs bedroom has a lockable door and more privacy than upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge with a small freezer. There is a large screen TV, a free Netflix account for guest use, Freeview channels, a DVD library and WiFi broadband internet with unlimited data, and a games table with board games. On the main deck, accessed by ranch-slider door, there is an outdoor table and bench seats. A port-a-cot and high chair are available for infants. There is an external 15A power socket for charging electric vehicles, but you must bring your own charger. Guest access The entire house and 1500m2 grounds are accessible with the exception of a store room and two sheds. Other things to note We don't permit pets except by arrangement. Definitely no smoking inside, and preferably not on the property at all - it is protected natural space.
