The Clipping Shed, Tom of Lude

The Clipping Shed is a superbly finished conversion of a previously working steading. It is warm and welcoming and has unsurpassed views high over the Vale of Atholl towards Blair Castle in the Cairngorms National Park. Its ideal for a relaxing family break, a sporting weekend, a walker’s retreat or a romantic getaway! The cottage has a delightful double bedroom and a twin room both located on the ground floor. There is also an office area upstairs with space for a camp bed or cot if required. The space On the ground floor, the living room is light and spacious with a door leading to a patio with garden furniture, ideal for taking in the magical view of the Vale of Atholl. The private garden has a good sized shed which is ideal for storage of bicycles or other outdoor equipment. There is a dining table and chairs, two comfortable sofas, coffee table and a smart TV, enabling access to various streaming channels. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with a ceramic stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and a small deep freeze. A wooden spiral staircase leads up to an office space or cosy 'den' area above the kitchen, with a desk, TV and DVD player, piano keyboard and several bean bags/large cushions for lounging on. This space is also ideal for a camp bed or cot which are available on request. Further on the ground floor of the cottage, through the living room, are the bedrooms and large shower room (with an enormous shower, toilet and wash basin). The washer/ dryer is also located in the shower room. The Clipping Shed has private parking for 2 vehicles, free Wifi, uses green energy in the form of Hydroelectricity and Ground Source heating to provide electricity and heat to the cottage.
