The Pigsty at Hurdlow Grange is a cosy barn, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a peaceful holiday cottage in the Peak District. Offers stunning views, lots of walking and cycling routes, free Wi-Fi and a great pub within walking distance. Small but perfectly formed, the accommodation is on one level with each room creatively styled to maximise comfort and space. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 per dog for the duration of your stay. We can accept up to 1 dog. The space The Pigsty is a quirky little barn that has been cleverly converted to accommodate up to two adults. Everything you need is all on one floor and we have added little touches of comfort and style to help our guests relax. With great walking and cycling routes from the doorstep and a fantastic pub just down the lane, it's a great base from which to enjoy the countryside and explore the beautiful Peak District National Park. If you have any questions please just ask. Here is some more information on what to expect: The Pigsty has the following home comforts: A fixed double bed, with luxury linen bedding and TV. A bath towel per person is provided. A cosy living space with a plush sofa and cushions, a small coffee table and a modern electric fireplace. Wall mounted TV A modern kitchen equipped with sink, electric oven, hob, under counter fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. Crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, coffee machine and baking trays. A bathroom, with WC, washbasin and shower cubicle and hand towel. Unfortunately, The Pigsty is not suitable for children or infants. The Pigsty is dog friendly and we can accept 1 dog comfortably within the property. There is an additional £30 charge, please just let us know if you wish to bring your dog. Don't forget to bring your bicycles. Take advantage of our free on-site bike storage There are 2 x 7kw EV charging stations on site Guest access Exclusive access to the whole cottage. The Pigsty is on a shared site and is one of 6 cottages at Hurdlow Grange. Every cottage is situated around the main courtyard and there is ample parking for you at the front of The Pigsty. You have exclusive use of the cottage and the patio area to the front, with parking in the shared courtyard or in front of the cottage wall. Please do not park to the side of the cottage where the communal EV charger is as this needs to be accessible at all times. Other things to note Unfortunately, due to the size of The Pigsty it is not suitable for children or infants. There is no formal indoor dining space at The Pigsty, but there is a small coffee table in the living space and two breakfast trays provided should you wish to breakfast in bed! There is a full sized picnic table outside in the courtyard which provides a great space for alfresco dining. Please note that we are dog friendly at this property however there is livestock in the surrounding fields so dogs must be kept under control at all times. For your information, a maximum of one dog is allowed if pre-arranged - you will be expected to keep them out of the bedroom and off the soft furnishings. Strictly NO fireworks due to nearby livestock Wi-Fi – we provide free Wi-Fi however as the Peak District is in a beautiful rural location sometimes there can be intermittent Wi-Fi signal that is beyond our control, we also hope you appreciate that we cannot guarantee Wi-Fi if there are technical issues out of our control. Mobile reception - mobile reception can be limited dependent on your network Noise Policy - due to the quiet rural location, late night noise must be confined to inside the building by 10pm. Please be aware you are on a shared site and other residents/neighbours are in close proximity. The bed is a fixed double and cannot be made into twins
