Traditional stone house with view. The space Elia Village House is a traditional Cretan house, a typical example of 18th century local architecture. It is the type of the Cretan stone house which was the most widespread type of home in the whole of Crete. The main area of the house is separated from an arch, and on the sides creates four spaces that have functional autonomy without destroying the unity of the space. Today in those spaces, are the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. In the main building of the house was added another building, communicating internally, with two arch doors.That space used as a warehouse to store various household utensils and pots. Today, there is the main bedroom of the house, the toilet, where you can see a part of the rock, on which is built the house and the staircase leading to the wooden floor bedroom and to the terrace.
