Suite with private bathroom on Groundfloor - Palms
Groundfloor
Description
The building was built by my grandfather and it was recently renovated. We decided to host guests and show them what a charming city Faro is. The space You can use your private room and bathroom and use the kitchen, living room and our backyard. The backyard can be used only from 9:30 to 22h. We don’t want to disturb the neighbors and other guests with noise after that hour. Please don’t disturb other guests with noise on resting hours - midnight to 8 am. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the house except for the other bedrooms. Other things to note Dear guest, we will do everything to accommodate your preferences, including to welcome you late in the evening. Bear in mind that the house is antique and it is not soundproof. That is why we ask our guests to be as quiet as possible between 22h/10pm and 8h/8am. So, if you have to check-in or check-out during that time, please do it as quiet as possible. Faro’s city hall charges a tourist tax of 1,5€ per person over 13 years old, per night until the max limit of 7 nights. That value must be paid on arrival if you haven’t paid it before. We have 3 rescued dogs living in the backyard. The bigger ones had a rough start and are very shy. Bianca, the smallest one was left behind from her previous owner and is very sweet and a little bit needy;) ! I’m pretty sure She will try to hang out with our guests inside the house. If the other guests don’t mind we don’t mind too :) Since 2015 Portugal has more strictly enforced a longstanding law requiring anyone providing paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, exit, and identification details of all nonPortuguese nationals who use that accommodation. This law has been brought into force in Portugal and most other EU countries at some point since the gradual implementation of the 1990 Schengen Agreement that aims to stop human trafficking and other ilegal practices. In this case, it is specifically Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recente Alojamento Local law in Portugal that has brought this rule into sharper focus. The governing body that monitors the movement of foreigners is SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras or the Immigration and Borders Service). Insect and Wildlife Info: Our home is located in a hot and humid climate that is beaming with wildlife. Depending on the time of year and the weather conditions, guests may encounter mosquitoes, gnats, lovebugs or other bugs. While we do utilize regular pest control services, we are unable to offer any guarantees against or refunds for the occasional bug that may make it inside our home. We do our best to prevent this from occurring and guests can help by keeping windows and doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner. Registration Details 102487/AL
