Charleson Farm was born from our passion for the countryside and the things we hold dear - family, friends, good food and laughter. The property is set high with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and everything needed to relax and recharge. Centrally located, it is only 25-40 mins from Lorne, Torquay, Anglesea, Birregurra, Geelong and the attractions of the Great Ocean Road. Three hat restaurant Brae is also close by. The house is pet friendly. The space There are 5 bedrooms and 11 beds: 1. Queen 2. Queen 3. Queen 4. King (can be split into 2 singles) 5. 6 single = 2 sets of bunks and 2 singles (that can be made into a king bed). - Enjoy the views and rural tranquillity - Relax in front of the wood fire - Have a drink on the large covered deck - Watch the kangaroos hop by - Visit the local wineries and berry farms - Go bush walking in the nearby National Park - Swim in the pool or at the beach - Explore the secret treehouse hidden in the pine trees - Feed the ponies and goats - Hang out in the games room, or - Simply do nothing The property has the facilities and space to accommodate multiple families in comfort: - Sleeps 14 guests - Most rooms can fit portacots - The kitchen is modern and includes a dishwasher, microwave and almost everything else you will need. The main living area also has a wood heater (wood provided) as well as TV and wifi/Bluetooth speaker - Separate large games room complete with table tennis, games console, table soccer, TV, Bluetooth speaker etc - basketball court - The house is set up with babies in mind: two portacots, high chair, baby friendly toys, safety locks on cupboards etc - Heated plunge pool (not spa/hot tub) - Pet friendly - There is high speed NBN to facilitate remote working. Charleson offers a sustainable living environment with a house designed using passive solar architecture to enhance natural light, capture winter sun for warmth, and provide shade and cross ventilation during summer. The property operates on solar energy and harvested rainwater, with all cleaning done using eco-friendly products. Guests can enjoy organic vegetables and herbs straight from the garden. Recycling is encouraged, with provisions for plastics, paper, and glass. Fruit and vegetable waste can be shared with the eager goats and farm animals, adding to the environmentally friendly experience.
