The character of this property is that it can also be used by several travel groups at the same time. Please note this when booking. Exclusive use may be possible on request. On the ground floor there is a lounge with pellet stove. Pellets can be purchased on site at the usual price. Only the lounge is heated. The bedrooms are not heated. In the cooler season, please bring warm sleeping bags. Breakfast can be booked at the time of booking or later, up to 2 days before the desired breakfast date. Guest access The entire accommodation is available for your use. Since this is a mattress camp, it may happen that other guests or hiking groups stay in the house at the same time. Other things to note The cowshed is in the middle of nature around the Rathewalder Mühle. Therefore, one or two spider webs are part of the natural environment. There is no WiFi and the mobile reception is only limited – those who can get involved in nature will experience a special overnight stay here. In the basement with a lounge and kitchen, a pellet stove provides warmth on cooler days. However, the bedrooms are hardly reached by it. Drinks and a small basic stock of food are available on an honor system. There are also several apartments of different sizes on the grounds of the Rathewalder Mühle. These are usually rented with a minimum stay, while the cowshed is also suitable for individual nights – e.g. for hikers on the Malerweg.
