Gorgeous view directly from inside the cottage picture windows & deck. 768 sqft fully furnished cottage located in foothills of Appalachian mountains. Elevation is 2250'. Eco retreat. 6 miles of private hiking trails.138 acres of hilly, mature forested land. Abundance of wildlife. Great place to connect with nature. Close to state parks/land, Ski resorts. Biking, hiking. Dog friendly. Hunting, trapping, foraging prohibited The space Dark skies, astronomers delight! The elevation is 2250'. There is a beginner’s telescope in the living room for guests to use. 6+ miles of private, maintained hiking trails. There is a pond, picnic area with covered deck and fire pit. Guest access Guests have use of the entire upstairs (the downstairs area is used for storage) Guests have access to the entire site plus the use of 6 miles of common, well-marked & maintained hiking trails located throughout the forested land. Trails are listed on a detailed trail map. Other things to note Until further notice the cabin will be vacant for a minimum of 1 day between guests. We currently do not permit large group gatherings. Firewood and kindling for the wood stove and fire pit is available for purchase. The cost for the wood stove is $15.00 for a 2-day supply. Wood for the fire pit is $10.00/2cuft. Dogs are welcome. Other pets must be approved. Dogs must be kept on leash when hiking trials. Must pick up after pets. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. Must be crated if leaving unattended in cabin. There is a $35.00 charge for pets. If using the trails, a rental agreement/liability waiver must be signed prior to your arrival.
