D'Estrees Bay Shack, Fishing and Surfing

The D'Estrees bay Shack is surrounded by the Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park, 45 minutes from the ferry at Penneshaw and 30 minutes from Kingscote. Remote, basic but comfortable and completely off grid with stand alone solar and rainwater. A perfect place to base yourself to enjoy the wonders of the south coast of Kangaroo Island The bathroom is located separate from the main building with well lit undercover access and plenty of room to shower sandy salty kids. All Linen is provided Guest access Complete access to all areas Other things to note Please be mindful that the Telstra Mobile coverage is limited right at the shack, for reasons unknown it can usually be picked up at the beach though. Optus coverage is better and seems not to be a problem. There is no WIFI and a portion of the journey will require you to travel on an unsealed road
