Maple on Royal - A Peaceful and Quiet Experience

This small 1950’s cottage was entirely gutted and rebuilt attempting to keep the peaceful feel of the home yet creating a completely modem look. There was lots of sweat and love that went into every detail to make this home luxurious, comfortable and fresh. Who wouldn’t love a brand new home surrounded by garden, fruit, vegetables and nature. Maple on Royal is a 2 bedroom house, with a large front, side and back garden which is used to grow Organic fruit and vegetables all year round (seasonal). The space Royal Park suburb is only a 15min drive from/to Adelaide International/Domestic airport, 6 min drive to Westfield West Lakes Mall and a 10 minute drive to Tennyson beach. Eat your breakfast in the outdoor alfresco area, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the garden and keep a look out for the resident “Willy Wagtail” whose family have been visiting our yard for generations. The front yard is predominantly a rose garden, with a grapevine growing along the fence. When in season there is apricots, tomatoes, grapes, lettuce, cucumber, chilli, basil, parsley, corn, eggplant, zucchini etc. All our soil is organic and no sprays or chemicals are used in the garden. As we do not use sprays you can always find a few holes in leaves and a snail or caterpillar here or there. You can pick, eat, and cook with whatever is available and ripe on your stay. We just ask that you only harvest what you need for your meal and leave the rest for next time you come and other guests. People who stay all talk about the peaceful nature of the home and just a complete feeling of relaxation. Call it the design of the house, ‘energy’ or Feng Shui (not sure what it is) but it is a lovely environment and you feel refreshed and relaxed on your stay. The bathroom: has been fully renovated and has a large rain showerhead and an additional hand held shower if required. There is also a washing machine for you to do any clothes washing. The kitchen: is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and cooktop. There are a number of restaurants only a few minutes’ walk away (including a pub) however the kitchen has oil, spices, pots, pans for you to cook a delicious meal if you feel like staying in. Remember to use some fresh ingredients from the garden to inspire and flavour your cooking. Lounge Room: is an open area with the kitchen and boasts a super comfortable lounge and huge Projector Screen TV for your enjoyment. There is an ability to sign in with your own Netflix or Stan account. There is free fetch TV, local TV and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Bedroom 1: Super comfortable (firm) King Size for a great night sleep. I’m 197cms tall and fit perfectly on this bed and you don’t have to worry about hitting your head anywhere in the house. I built the house with extra high ceilings, doors and shower. Bedroom 2: Super Comfortable (firm) King Single Bed, study desk and a selection of games/ books for your enjoyment. Car parking: there is more than enough room to park two carks inside the property and there is also street parking. You can leave your car/s on the road, under the carport or behind the roller door the choice is yours. Security: For your peace of mind, the house has been fitted with a security alarm, crimsafe mesh security doors and window locks. To get into the property there is an electric gate and roller door. Air-conditioning and heating: there is ducted heating and cooling throughout the whole home for your comfort Surprises: There is also a few surprises here and there to make your stay fun, enjoyable and relaxing Guest access No access to garden shed at back of property. Other things to note * No shoes inside * Due to garden maintenance I will need to access the garden. We will remind you regarding regular access to the garden upon your booking * All rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
