The international kitchen and variety menu offers dishes for every taste. The house Padberg is also the association restaurant of the Balve Schützenbruderschaft and SG Balve/Garbeck. The house Padberg also hosts the annual cone championships. The founding house of the Padberg family was the house Cordes in Balve, Hönnetalstraße 1. It was built about 1770. In 1789, the half-timbered house fell victim to the fire in a large city fire. A year later, the rebuilding took place. In 1800, the former owner, by trade tanner and innkeeper, was granted the concession to operate a restaurant. At the time, about 800 citizens lived in the city of Balve. Among the operators were 13 hosts. In 1859, the daughter of Josef Cordes married Theodor Padberg from Winkhausen. In 1864, the division of the plot and the building permit for today's house Padberg was applied for and approved. The son of Elisabeth Cordes, Fanz-Josef Padberg, from the profession Gerber, farmer and innkeeper, operated the house Padberg until 1977. After his death, the former savings bank Balve bought the building in 1998, extensively renovated and rebuilt. Since September 1, 1999, the Stanišic family has run the Hotel-Restaurant Haus Padberg.
