Description
The Barn at Lees Farm is Nestled in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Ironbridge Gorge. This rural retreat offers annex accommodation attached to a the barn dating from 1830. Ironbridge is a 35 minute walk away and there are pubs close by but I would suggest Summer walking distance or a lunchtime visit if walking. It is very peaceful and relaxing. There is an added payable wood fired hot tub option available on request. We are dog friendly, please add your dog to booking The space Access to The Annex is via a farm track that is steep at one point with a hairpin bend. The Annex (as it suggests attached to main house) has one bedroom with a double bed and a small sofa bed (one adult or two children. Is a double but a cosy one!) in the living area. Travel cot available. - The hot tub is an extra charge of £30 this includes enough wood (I provide kiln dried) to heat the tub for the first heat. To refill and relight is £30 It is around 1 bag per heat for the next or subsequent days charged at £10 per bag. I can have the hot tub lit ready for your arrival for £60 (if you decide not to use the hot tub you will still need to pay the £60) If you wish to bring your own wood then a charge of £20 will still be made to cover the costs of making the hot tub ready. I use 3-4 bags of kiln dried to ensure 3 hour heat time. Space outside is private courtyard adjacent with the garden of main barn, privacy is respected and the garden has separate areas. The hot tub is in an enclosed area. The area is secure for dogs. The paths to and from the Annex are a mix of gravel and wood chip. Please be aware if you have mobility issues. I do have a Yurt situated close by that other guests will be staying in. Please respect the fact the yurt is generally a quiet couples getaway. The hot tub gets VERY hot and water temp cannot be regulated as it is wood fired. It is a two person hot tub and we don't recommend it for young children or pregnant women. Please do not let children play around the hot tub area. Having the Hot Tub lit ready for you may depend on my availability on the day. PEASE NOTE - IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE HOT TUB IS HEATED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL, IT WILL BE AT THE CORRECT TEMP THE ETA /TIME GIVEN/REQUESTED if you don’t give a time then I will light it for 4pm ish and it can be kept warm for the evening. As is it wood fired it will retain some heat but will not stay warm for hours should you decide not to use it. It will need re-lighting. Wood can be purchased for £10 per bag. Guest access Access is through the annex garden and not shared. Other things to note Dog friendly, garden is secure. I have a dog and they will use the main barn garden space. There is gate between the barn and annex. I usually let the dogs meet but only if I have checked with you first. The sofa bed is in the living/kitchen space and is on the smaller side. The hot tub is an extra charge of £30 this includes enough wood to heat the tub for the first heat. It is around 1 bag per heat for the next or subsequent days charged at £10 per bag. I can have the hot tub lit ready for your arrival for £60 If you wish to bring your own wood then a charge of £20will still be made to cover the costs of making the hot tub ready.
