Dagoretti Center * Nairobi * Kenya * Africa
Description
New flat, in secure building with security, green grass where you can picnic. Typical, modern style Nairobi middleclass flat, where we live, Husband(Danish) and Wife(Kenyan). Peaceful secure area too. 300 meter from Matatu 23B, which takes you to Nairobi City for USD 0.70 (70 US cents) and back for USD 0.80 (80 US cents). You will be living like a typical Kenyan while here. A chance in a lifetime. Mornings with hundreds of birds waking you at sunrise and accompanying you at sunset... The space It is a 2 bedroom normal Kenyan Nairobi flat, however not stuffy. The space is in the very green part of Nairobi West, some 14 kilometer outside of Nairobi CBD. It is a bit up towards the mountains, so you will find very few mosquitoes. We do sleep under mosquitonet, though, ... Guest access When you stay with us, you will be able to enjoy the local, absolutely typical Kenyan shops, services and people. We stay near Yellowstone, where you can enjoy the world famous Nyama Choma - but this time - the real one. Yellowstone has got swimming pool, a bar, music and dance in the weekends, all of it, Kienyeji style, that is: Local style. Here you are outside the typical tourist domain. Other things to note If you have any questions, before making up your mind, indeed just ask. Hmm. We would only host either 1 person, 1 couple, or 1 married couple, and well mannered kids are welcome.. We will never mix you with other persons you don't know. You will have the room for yourself... We are doing this such that both you and we can have a positive experience out of it, and we would expect that you participate in the normal and natural activities in the house as to your desire. We would need a Video Skype with those of you who are coming to us, such that you can see who we are and we can see who you are... That way we will reduce surprises, and will be able to either be very happy (on both sides), or either of us can drop it early...
