Chez Yahia, in the heart of l'Ourika

A little piece of paradise, we are located far from all the bustle and enjoy a breathtaking view of the beautiful Ourika Valley. In the heart of the High Atlas, 48km from Marrakech, it is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, hikers and travelers wishing to discover an authentic Morocco, a place to relax and recharge. The space Having spent my childhood holidays in the region, and falling in love with this unique place, I decided to build my house there. I designed it, so it would blend into the picturesque landscape while respecting the surrounding nature. Above all, I made sure that the house would be bathed at any time of the day by the sun, the colors and the magical light of the valley! Thanks to the inhabitants of Tarljeft, my dream came true, and I invite you today to share my humble oasis of peace. The guest house Chez Yahia is ideally located, it is close to all the notorious sites of the region, the waterfalls of Setti-Fatma, the ski resort of Oukaimeden, but far from the tumult that can sometimes invade the valley in high season. It is at the starting point of many hikes for those wishing to get off the beaten track and off the tourist path. Built with the traditional stones of the region, the house is vast, simple and calm. The house has 3 floors, 3 bedrooms on the first floor, two apartments each with a bedroom and a small living room on the second floor. We also just finished a new apartment which has its own kitchen and own living room, and we are in the process of finishing a studio with panoramic view on the third floor. There are plenty of places to relax, balconies, terrasses and soon a garden There is a kitchen you can share with other guests if you wish to prepare your own meals. The decoration is simple and rustic without neglecting comfort. During your stay We will be there for you if you need any advice on how to visit our region. We are also always available via the site or via phone. Other things to note The house is not accessible by car, you will have to walk 5 minutes to reach it. But there will always be someone to help you carry your luggage. We offer breakfast as well as lunch or dinner. Local Moroccan traditional cuisine or other cuisine if you wish, all prepared by my wife, Juliette, a trained chef who brought back from her many travels the taste of authentic food. It is best to let us know 2 days in advance if you wish to have us prepare your meals as we only cook with fresh produces. The breakfast is 50MAD per person and the dinner is 150MAD per person. Our place is for lovers of nature, tranquility and beautiful scenery. We will do everything to make your stay in our home a memorable one and welcome you with the warmth typical of the region.
