The space Your Broken Head Nature Cabin is a roomy 49m² open-plan studio, decked out in a calm, nature-inspired palette that basically whispers “relax, mate.” The main house sits in the centre of the property with four cabins branching off via timber walkways like a very civilised treehouse village. Inside, you’ll find a king bed + single bed with hotel-grade mattresses & luxe linens that almost guarantee a sleep-in. The cabins have all been freshly renovated and come with air-con, heating, ceiling fans, a kitchenette, fridge, microwave & your very own outdoor BBQ on your private deck. Ideal for couples or small families who’d rather cook up a feast than fork out for Byron restaurant prices. You’ll also get an open-plan lounge, Smart TV with Netflix, a dining nook and a modern bathroom with plush towels. Each cabin has its own private entrance so you can breeze in without having to interact with a single soul if that’s the holiday vibe you’re chasing. Planting has been designed to give you privacy without feeling like you’ve been dropped in the middle of nowhere. Now for the fun stuff: Head over to our communal entertaining area where you can watch TV on the huge outdoor TV by day or under the stars, fire up the communal BBQ, challenge someone to table tennis or a snooker showdown, or simply sit back and do jack all. Then there’s the hero of the property: our resort-style pool, lined with sunlounges and umbrellas. Perfect for floating, napping or confidently strutting around like you’ve just been cast in “Byron Bay’s Next Top Model.” A QUICK WORD FOR PARENTS (aka “The Honest Bit”): We’re on a gorgeous 15-acre property which includes natural waterways. They’re beautiful… but not fenced. Thousands of families have stayed here happily over the last two decades without any issue, but please keep an eye on your little ones at all times. If you’re planning a holiday where you can “set and forget” your kids… this might not be your place. This is a peaceful, chill-out kind of property. No parties, no wild nights and no turning your cabin into Splendour in the Grass. Keep things relaxed so everyone enjoys their stay. And yes - you might spot some Aussie wildlife around the edges of the property. Think birds, wallabies, cane toads, the odd gecko & maybe a garden python or two. Nothing that wants to eat you. Other things to note TECH LOVERS, A LITTLE HEADS-UP 📡📴 Our mobile & internet coverage can be a bit like spotting a koala - mostly reliable but occasionally elusive. We’ve done our best with a telco tower upgrade in Ballina and maxed out our internet plans to give you the best shot at streaming cat videos. That said, if you’re a full-on Wi-Fi warrior who needs warp-speed uploads and downloads 24/7, this might not be your digital paradise. Most guests find it totally fine, but every now and then, the signal might take a little nap, especially if the local towers are feeling a bit overloaded. Log off & log on to life, eh?
