The Beach Hut Gurnard, located in an enviable beachfront position, is the perfect 'home from home' for solo-travellers, couples, friends and small families. This beachfront property features fantastic Solent views; the perfect place to watch the stunning sunsets Gurnard is famous for. Well-equipped and with fast WIFI makes this the ideal choice for a chilled break enjoying the sea, beach and all that goes with it, all on your doorstep . The space The two bedrooms can accommodate four people comfortably with one room being a double and the other a twin (2 single beds). Benefitting from an open-plan living area, the property has a well equipped kitchen including washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine . A large island incorporates the induction hob and plenty of seating space for a breakfast bar with 4 upholstered stools. A children's chair and table set is available if the stools are unsuitable- please enquire. The lounge furniture comprises of a two seater sofa and 2x lounge chairs along with a coffee table and a wall mounted TV (with SmartTV box). On opening the double doors , you have a decked outdoor space with picnic bench for alfresco dining, plenty of seating and magnificent viewing platform for watching the nearby sailing club set sail and also the many windsurfers and paddle boarders that are drawn to the area . If you fancy joining in - there are local hire companies who will supply any equipment required. Relax and watch the world go by and enjoy a pizza delivery from one of our local businesses who deliver to the area. We are happy to accommodate one small dog to join you on your holidays but we please ask to refrain from allowing them on the furniture or beds. Please bring their own bed and bowls. There are some points to advise before booking the accommodation- there are steps to the bedrooms and bathroom and care should be taken - one bedroom has a reduced head height in the doorway . The upper roof terrace is unavailable to guests. We have a strict NO BBQ policy at the property as it is a wooden chalet and decking area - we appreciate your understanding in this matter. Finally, there are some building works being carried out at present in the vicinity and may be some noise during the week days. The neighbouring property was demolished several years ago and is waiting rebuilding. No work has started on this site - should this situation change I will notify any guests affected. Ferry discount codes are available please enquire when booking. We operate a self check in system for your convenience using a key safe. All codes will be sent the day before travel. During August we operate a 7 day minimum booking -checking in Saturdays only. Guest access There is a small back garden area through a gate to the front side of the property where guests can use the washing line and access the bin area where they can place recycling items, non recycling and food waste. Other things to note Generally Check -in time is 4 pm but I will contact you if I am able to offer an earlier check time. On checkout -please can I ask that you vacate the chalet at 10 am prompt - this is to allow our cleaning team access to enable them to get changeover carried out and prepare for future guests especially during the busy summer period when changeovers are back to back . If possible, please remove your bed linen and leave it in each bedroom . I would very much appreciate your assistance with these points . No smoking/ Vaping on / inside the property at any time .
