Ideal for those on the bike trail or working in the district. So much more peaceful, nicer and prettier and only 1.8 km from town where you can grab a bite to eat. BBQ and portable gas cooker and breakfast making facilities. The space Wood Duck Cottage is situated on 8 acres Killingworth Road, about 2 minutes from town in the peaceful surrounds of the countryside. The cottage is beautifully appointed and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The Cottage has an out door open fireplace, with eating area plus indoor eating area for 12. Enjoy the property and wander across to the vegetable garden, to the chickens or around the property. Those that are energetic can walk up the peaceful unsealed road and chill out in the countryside. There is a basketball ring, tyre swing, children’s cubby/playhouse and sandpit and climbing ropes and swing. The Cabin/ Bunk House is only 5 metres away from the main cottage is a unique style of accommodation for a couple. We have made sure that all rooms are well appointed with quality comfort queen size beds, televisions with dvd player and Wii. Being out in the country there is lots of room for that BBQ or for a peaceful getaway. The cottage has a huge bathroom with double shower, double basins and marble floor. A country bath awaits those that need to relax. We also have a fully operational laundry for those wanting to stay for longer breaks. Guest access Drive in straight to the outside of the cabin. Other things to note There is BBQ and gas cooker with queen size bed, toilet and shower. No Kitchen.
