Moss & Grove charming family cabin in Kapatagan

Moss & Grove Cabins rest on a sprawling property in the foothills of Mt. Apo, the tallest mountain in the Philippines. Our comfy cabins are set apart from each other and each tucked away in a peaceful setting. Enjoy lush highland greenery and a cool climate at 4,000 feet above sea level. It is ideally located near the main town and many places of interest. Adventurers often choose Kapatagan as a jump-off for exploring Mt. Apo and its surrounding areas. Others come to relax and recharge. The space The main cabin is at the center of the property surrounded by pine trees. A fire pit, small play area and vegetable garden are located near the back of the house while in front of the house, there is an outdoor sitting area. It has three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the second floor. The bedroom in the ground floor has a queen bed while the bedrooms in the second floor have single beds as well as loft beds. The living room located on the second floor has two single beds, a trundle bed and a couch. There are also boardgames and card games under the coffee table in the living room. A balcony wraps around the second floor and can be accessed through each room and the living room as well. There are two bathrooms in the cabin. One located in the second floor with a separated shower stall from the toilet and sink. The other bathroom is located in the ground floor with access from the patio. The ground floor has an indoor dining area and also a shelf filled with an assortment of books. Entryways to the kitchen are separate from the main house. The patio is a great place for outdoor dining with two dining tables and surrounded by plants and a view of the small forest. Guest access Aside from the amenities of your cabin, your stay includes the use of a shared barbecue, and a variety of outdoor areas. This includes barbecue and picnic spots, playground, fire pit, pond and free flowing spring pool. The property is also home to a vegetable garden, plant nursery and a small forest. Many different kinds of trees and plants are growing onsite including a small area planted with coffee. There are walking paths that connect the different outdoor areas. Other things to note Parking: Our driveway is steep and parking near the cabins is accessible only by 4x4 vehicles. Roadside parking is available for all other vehicles. Please advise estimate time of arrival so we can meet you at the gate and assist you with your belongings. Walkways and steps: Walkway going up to the cabins from the main road consist of around 113 steps. Given the mountain terrain, we would advise to wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip.
