The cozy 2-room apartment 33 m² can accommodate 2 people. It is located on the first floor with seating and a clear view of the mountains. Ideal starting point for beautiful hiking tours and wonderful skiing days. The Grund train station is 5 minutes away. The Engelshaus bus stop is just 100 meters from the house. Tourist tax of CHF 5.20 per person per day is included. There is no washing machine and no dryer available. Other things to note Tourist tax of CHF 5.20 per person per day is included. Arrival: Please DO NOT follow the navigation system/GPS, as the information from Grund is incorrect!! The Engelshausweg from Grund is not passable, as it is too steep and too narrow! Follow Grindelwaldstrasse to Grindelwald to the roundabout (Shell gas station). Turn right onto Grundstrasse. After about 500 meters, after Grund train station, cross the tracks and drive about 400 meters. Turn right over the bridge and follow Wärgistalstrasse. At the Engelshaus bus stop, turn right onto Engelshausweg. Cross the tracks and you're at your destination! In winter, snow chains and 4-wheel drive are often necessary. In icy conditions, a reserved parking space is available on Wärgistalstrasse. If you are travelling by train, you can change to bus 123 and get off at Engelshaus station. This bus stop is 100 meters from our place. There is also the possibility to take the train from Grindelwald station to Grindelwald Grund. The Grund station is 5 minutes away (steep path).
