The space The room overlooks Via Garibaldi and is part of an apartment in an ancient building located in the historic center, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just 500 meters from Piazza Duomo and Via Etnea. The apartment has undergone careful restoration, recovering period ceilings and floors, combined with modern furnishings and services designed specifically for the purpose. Guests can enjoy an Italian breakfast, served in the breakfast room for a fee of €5 per person. This room is available as a common space for reading and conversation, equipped with a coffee machine, sink, refrigerator, electric kettle with a variety of infusions and teas, and a flat-screen TV. Great WiFi is available and free throughout the property. We pay particular attention to the hygiene of the house, providing fresh sheets and pillowcases, duvets, towels, hairdryers and shampoo. Upon request, we also provide free or discounted entrances to a lido on the famous and nearby Plaia beach. Other things to note Our property is located in the historic center of Catania, on the second floor of an ancient noble building. If you arrive at the airport, you can easily reach us by taxi with Radiotaxi 0958833 at a fixed rate of €22, or by the Alibus public shuttle, which leaves every 25 minutes from the airport at a cost of €4.00 per person. The nearest stops to our property are Archi or Dusmet, just a 15-minute walk away. We offer a transfer service for up to 4 people from our facility to the airport at a cost of €15. For those arriving by car, a place for a small car is available on request in the courtyard of our building at a cost of €10 per day. It is possible to park on the street with a parking meter on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the blue stripes in Via Garibaldi, at a cost of €0.87 per hour or €2.90 for half a day. In addition, you can park for free in the side streets. Nearby, a 5-minute walk away, there is a private parking lot in Via Sardo 18, at a cost of €12 for 24 hours. If you arrive by train or bus at the Central Station, you can reach us on foot in 30 minutes, or take the Metro to Piazza Stesicoro and continue on foot for 15 minutes.
