Natural Mystic Sanctuary - Eagles Nest View

The double room with attached bathroom is situated on the first floor with great views over a valley with rainforest patches and an eagles nest on the opposite site. Immerse into nature on our peaceful six acre sanctuary, dive into our large natural swimming pool or explorene the small river with it's small pools. Enjoy watching birds & other wildlife just from your bedroom in a great climate. Attractions nearby are the Sinharaja Rainforest reserve and the Udawalawe National park. The space We are sitauted far away from the main road yet close enough to reach easyly. The Sanctuary consits of six buildings on six acres hill land, surrounded by patches of rainforest, garden and tea plantation. "Eagles Nest View" is next to another two bedroom buildings. Within a distance of 200 m there is a small river with natural pools for a refreshing dip. Guest access The acess to our property is by a unpaved path from Batandura road (next to a bridge) and walking up a stone path by foot for about 10 minutes or with a suitable 4WD vehicle. We can help with luggage by prior notice. You can enjoy our entire property by foot on a round path (about 600 m long). It goes from the main buildings down to the river with our main pool and bends along the river down to the bottom part with it's mud cabana and giant Banyan tree. The path leads back up to the main buildings and has scenic views over the valley. During your stay We are mostly around and work with a small team of locals who support us with cooking, maintenance and guided tours. The guest privacy and comfort is very important to us so we are near but leave guests their space. Any time we help to organise transport, tours or explain what else we do here (permaculture garden with spices, fruits and vegg). Other things to note Our place is great for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and peace seekers.
