Our secluded cottage, located at the foot of outstanding ancient woodland with beautiful Teme Valley views, offers a newly refurbished annexe for our guests. A perfect quiet countryside stay with easy access to numerous public footpaths leading to the woods, the River Teme and to wonderful valley views. Only a five minute drive to eateries and 15/ 30 minutes to local Georgian and Medieval market towns. Check in is from 3 pm and earlier check in or park up is potentially available on request. The space This recently refurbished, south facing annexe with beautiful valley views, is located on the west side of our rural eighteenth century farm worker’s cottage. It is located in the heart of the beautiful Teme Valley and is surrounded by sheep grazing pastures and rolling hillsides. This private space offers a perfect base for your stay. From the property, from where you park, you are immediately into the fields with easy access to numerous public footpaths which lead to the ancient woodlands and streams , the River Teme and to footpaths to the top of the valley where glorious views of the rolling Teme Valley can be enjoyed. There is plenty to explore near by such as the medieval town of Ludlow, the Georgian town of Bewdley and the small market town of Tenbury Wells. The annexe offers you two bedrooms with comfortable double beds with soft feather bedding. One bathroom with a bath and a shower. And a cosy kitchenette with a log burning stove and a small dining table with stools seating four ( a high chair is available on request), a microwave/oven and a single induction hob and fridge. The kitchenette overlooks the garden and valley. There is also a fenced south facing patio with a table and two benches. During the Winter season (December- February) and cold snaps one complimentary basket of logs, can on request, be provided for your stay with kindling and matches. Further logs and kindling can be purchased from nearby farm shops and garages. We offer a complimentary light breakfast for your first morning which includes cereals, fresh milk and fruit juice. And complementary tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits will also be provided . Please contact us in advance if you would like an alternative milk provided or require gluten free cereals. Early park up available from 11 am and early bag drop off available too from 12 pm- please let us know if you’d like either. Guest access Please follow the instructions to self check in. Our garden is a private garden. Our guests can enjoy a south facing fenced private front patio straight from the kitchenette French windows where you’ll find a picnic bench. Other things to note We are secluded and very rurally located - with not a street light in sight. When it’s dark you may find a torch helpful to help guide you down from your car to our cottage annexe. If you require a taxi please book one up in advance of your stay. Uber are now in the area too. We are off the beaten track and access is down a long stone farm track, ( approximately one quarter of a mile). During wet weather you may appreciate wearing suitable footwear as you open and close the farm gates, passing through the grazing sheep. Albeit infrequent, during extremely severe storms, the electricity supply can be interrupted. Torches are provided for your convenience. Thank you.
