Spend a magical holiday in our Shropshire-made Mongolian yurts, privately situated on our organic farm in Shropshire’s Tern Valley. Our yurts are perfect for a romantic hideaway or a family adventure. Complete with compost toilet, proper beds, cosy wood burner, gas BBQ, bed linen for 4 and even a kitchen sink. A hand crafted wooden canopy offers sheltered outdoor living space so you can enjoy the best of outdoor living year round - rain or shine! Enjoy farm trails, cafe and farm shop onsite. The space Our two yurts are interconnected, providing the perfect getaway for up to six people. One is used as the bedroom and the other the living space. Epitomising the glamping offer (glamorous camping) whilst still providing you with the feeling of camping out with nature, we want you to feel spoilt and inspired. There is a gas powered cool box for example, but nowhere to plug in your hair straighteners or toothbrush as totally off-grid! (Also no Wi-Fi) The yurts are insulated with sheep’s wool, have cotton sheets on the beds, decking to sit out and admire the views along the Tern Valley, and a book shelf stocked with everything you could ever want. (Bedding provided but no towels you must bring your own, please see confirmation email from the property direct for full yurt provision and what you need to bring) A holiday in our yurts is about enjoying and feeling part of nature, with that little bit of extra comfort. Plus you have the farm shop and Arthur’s Farm Kitchen not too far away yurts for those essentials, such as a cooked breakfast, cream tea or pack of free range Gloucester Old Spot sausages! Guest access We have farm trails to explore, woodlands to hide in, dens to make, trees to climb, tyre swings, ropes, chainsaw carvings and lots of wildlife to spot. The farm and nature itself are the best children’s playground you can have. We also provide lots of books filled with ideas for outdoor games. Plus all visiting children are given the opportunity to help out Farmer Ben by keeping a watchful eye on the livestock, looking out for problems, counting them and reporting back to our young farmer by completing our booklet. Other things to note Please note our yurt is off-grid and you are located within a working farm so the animals are your neighbours! Extra services in the form of flushing toilets, shower and power points for charging personal items are available in the main building and yurt guests are granted access
