Holiday House "Trovna"

Our holiday house is located right on the coast of the secluded bay on the island of Brač, just above the beach. The house holds all the facilities of a regular house but it's surrounded by beautiful nature and sea. It's close to Pučišća - a small town with shops, restaurants and coffee bars. It's perfect for a peaceful runaway that can turn into a full day of island cruising anytime you choose to do so. The space Surroundings of the house include a small garden, barbecue spot with benches and tables for outside eating and gathering, as well as a separate terrace that can be used during the afternoon as it's hidden from the sun. The beach is just a few steps away from the house's front terrace. The living room also includes a raised sleeping gallery - once you lay in it, you have the special view of the sea and the mountain through a round window. All of the benches, tables and other outside details are carefully made with an idea of preserving the natural settings of the bay and the island. Stone and wood from the very bay were used to built the property in creative but functional manner. The house was once a smaller and simpler fisherman's house but we tried to built upon the idea of having a place of rest in nature. Since it's isolated from nearest small towns and other properties, the beach by the property is also perfect for nudism! The house is also equipped with an interior fireplace so it's also possible to enjoy it during Autumn and Winter. Guest access You can access everything that's located on the property, including the beach which is connected to the property by a staircase. There's also a kayak at the beach, included in price. Other things to note Life with Diabetes (Type 1) holds a special place for our family. For that reason, if you're diabetic, we offer 15% of discount on the guest's share in total listing price. Also, as the island doesn't offer that many of dietary options regarding healthy sugar intake, we can offer you some homemade products which we make and use in our own home. We offer substantially lower prices in Spring and late Autumn so keep that in mind when organizing your booking. Please note that the length of the road from Pucisca to the property is 8km long - 6km is an asphalt road but 2km is a dirt road, leading right to the the property. As the house is located in a completely secluded bay, the road goes through the hills. Any car will do (we use ours on regular basis) but have this in mind if you're planning to have daily trips to Pucisca and other places on the island. We welcome pets (up to 2) free of charge and understand that our property might be suitable for you exactly for that reason but we do ask that you announce beforehand so we can prepare and leave more time to clean the property before next guests.
