Stylish 2-bedroom apartment in Sydney's beachside suburb of Rockdale. 10-min walk to Rockdale station 10-min bus to Ramsgate beach 12-min Uber to the Airport 20-min train to Sydney city & Airport Centrally located, in a quiet culdesac, 3 mins walk from Rockdale Plaza for all amenities. The space The apartment is modern, with newly renovated fittings such as floorboards, a new vanity and a shower screen. It has a bathtub and a separate toilet which sits in the laundry. It is north-facing so the balcony gets lots of sunlight during the day. There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the living room so you can keep cool during the summer. The second bedroom has a sofa bed and also a desk space to study. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. Guest access Guests can access the whole apartment and personal balcony. Other things to note About the area: Rockdale is a very central area in Sydney. It is 10 minutes to the nearest beach which is located on the Brighton Le Sands promenade. (My favourite swimming spot is opposite the Ramsgate Beach House - simply jump on the 478 bus and you can reach there in 15 minutes.) The suburb is nicknamed, 'Little Nepal' due to the high Nepalese population. It is a multicultural area where you will find great authentic foods like Nepalese, Indian, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese and many more, all within 10 minutes of walking distance. The train station is about a ten-minute walk from the property with frequent trains that will get you to central Sydney CBD within 20 minutes. The property is also a short way from one of Sydney's most hip areas, Newtown. You could take a 15-minute Uber or get a bus/train to the area. The airport is also a short 15-minute Uber ride away. Similarly, the train line that passes through Rockdale takes you to the southern suburbs of Cronulla or to the eastern suburbs of Bondi. Both are bustling areas with amazing beaches to explore. If you don't have a car, the property is in a great location to get around Sydney on public transport (I didn't have a car when I lived in Sydney.) Rockdale Plaza is right behind the property. Here you will find Woolworths/Aldi and many other stores. If you turn right when you leave the property and walk two buildings across, to your right you'll see a walkway that leads directly to Rockdale Plaza (Perfect if you want a late-night snack because Woolworths is open until 10 p.m.) About the home: I travel often and so rarely live in the property. I keep some of my belongings in the wardrobe but there is enough space in both wardrobes for your stay. There is one main double bed and then another sofa bed that folds out if you have guests. The couches in the living room are also very comfortable. The property will have amenities for your stay. It is important to me that guests feel comfortable.
