Ocean view Cottage with the open air bath

You can take the exclusive-use-an-open-air-bath overlooking the sea and overlooking the the sky full of stars. There are the 5 wooden cottage on the 2500 square meters site. It is 15 min from Anbou port by car. Please use a rent-a-car by all means, since this is located outside of the city. Transportation by bus is very very inconvenience.We do not offer pick up service. We obtained an official permission from the local government of Kagoshima Prefecture to do business with the cottage. The space Five newly built cottages on a large expanse of land sit facing the sea. Its floor, wall, and ceiling are made with cedar plates. Inside the cottages are large cedar beams and the rooms are filled with the fragrance of the timber. A big window facing the sea and the very high colonnade(4.5m) can be relaxed very much. Each unit is equipped with a private balcony. You can enjoy breakfast and nice sea view with relaxed feeling on the balcony. There are a comfortable sofa and "the table of the Yaku cedar made by the owner". Yaku cedar is famous as a special product in Yakushima. Behind the cottages are the mountains and on a clear day there are great views of Mocchomu. All the cottages are the same size with 2 single beds on the ground floor. Up to 2 guests can stay in a cottage with 2 people sleeping in the loft area on futons. The rooms also have wi-fi access free of charge. Bath towels and toiletries are provided. For guests staying more than one night then the room will be cleaned daily, but the bathroom and the kitchen area will not be cleaned. ==== Dining Options ==== - Please note, there are no shops, restaurants or dining options within a walking distance from this property. - At an additional cost, the accommodation can arrange a typical Japanese meal box which can be handed out starting from 04:00. Guests can have it for breakfast, or it is also possible to bring it to lunch for outdoor activities. Please note that this service must be reserved at the time of check-in, before 19:30. The rooms are no smoking areas, but smoking is allowed on the cottage verandah outside. Unfortunately, children under the age of 6 are not allowed. As many people awake early to go trekking then after 10pm there is a no noise policy. All cottages have a small kitchen with limited utensils. The kitchen is not sufficient for meal preparation. An exclusive possession area is 40 square meters. It is 2 single beds and 2 Japanese futon. Guest access There are the 5 cottage and owner's house in this site. The guest can walk around the garden . The guest is not allowed to enter the owner's house and cottage's private garden without permission. Other things to note The staying is limited to the guest who can borrow the car. Because our cottage is located outside of the city. Transportation by public bus is very very inconvenience. Please note that pick-up service is not available. In winter (Dec - Feb), please note that you have to go to Jomon hiking by rent-a-car or guide, you can not go by bus. Children 13 years and above can be accommodated at this property. The international license of the car is necessary for a rent-a-car. But there is a trouble that the guests misunderstand International licence driver's card, and they can not borrow the rent-a-car, though they booked rent-a-car. When you stay in 4 persons, 2 persons sleep at the bed of the first floor, 2 person sleep at the futon of the loft. it is a ladder(for loft) not stair. Our free Wifi service is available, but the service isn't sometimes good specially on rainydays. Depending on weather, you may not use outdoor facilities.
