Light-filled tree-top getaway in North Warrandyte

Welcome to our treetop getaway, immersed in nature, just a short walk from the Yarra River, bush walks, and the beautiful Yarra Valley Wine country. Perfect for a short getaway, for couples, a family, or small groups, and a chance to refresh and rejuvenate. North Warrandyte has a rural feel, with dirt roads and surrounded by tall gum trees, so you will often feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, awakening to the sounds of birdsong in our expansive green garden scape. The space Our 2 bedroom double storey house is homely and spacious, with both upstairs and downstairs equipped with bright and cosy living areas, a bathroom, a fireplace and a deck opening out to green spacious views. If you like to cook, we have everything you would need in our spacious modern kitchen which looks out over the trees. We purposefully do not have a TV in the house and instead can offer you a projector to play your movies or favourite shows on; lots of books to borrow and read; and a guitar to play if you'd like to. There are an array of outdoor activities on your doorstep including the river to kayak on (we have two basic kayaks and paddles you can borrow if you have roof racks to transport them back and forth to the river) bushwalks along the river and through the national parks nearby, and a firepit for autumn and winter nights where you can sit under the stars and enjoy the wilderness. The Yarra Valley and the region also offers an array of beautiful vineyards, and small towns, coffee shops and restaurants to explore. Guest access You’ll have the entire place to yourself
