The Studio's highlights: - a beautifully renovated Studio with great views of East Sydney - flexible spaces with bedding from 1 to 4 - proximate to most public transport (trains, buses, ubers, taxis etc) - walking distance to the City - fast WiFI, large SMART TV - fully stocked kitchen, washer / dryer, ironing equipment - located in one of Sydney's iconic Art Deco buildings, built in the 1920s - nestled in the heart of bustling Darlinghurst Dantosa Studio is located in Royston Street. It is close to public transport and taxis. Or you can take in Sydney's street scape by walking to Sydney's downtown and Opera House in 15-20 minutes. The Studio is fully renovated, has great views of East Sydney, and is kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your Sydney visit. The Studio has two sleeping areas: in the main room, the Clei murphy queen bed turns into a leather sofa if you prefer. Adjoining the main room is a small kitchen with oven and infrared hot plates, microwave, dishwasher and bar fridge. The second room contains murphy bunk beds which fold into the wall. A combination washer / dryer is also installed in the second room. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms. The Studio is ideal for working from home with a good wifi, an adjoining room if you need some privacy and a great outlook and small outdoor area where you and your coffee can greet the morning sun. The Studio has a fully-appointed kitchen, SMART TV , comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, and as mentioned, a washer/dryer. An iron and ironing board is provided. The kitchen is stocked with cereals, nuts, coffee, tea and other tid bits. You'll feel right at home. Just a heads up: the Studio is located on the 2nd floor. Being located in a 100+ year old building, access is via 2 flights of stairs. The stairs are reasonably easy to climb (numbering about 10 steps for each run) with halfway landings for each of the two flights. Dantosa Studio is also ideal for longer 1-6 month stays. Subject to availability, we can provide you with daily parking permits. For short term bookings will provide you with sufficient permits so you can park near to the Studio. The permits allow parking in the Studio's street and in the neighbouring streets (zone 17 of the City of Sydney Council parking plan). Please note, the Council does limit the number of permits so they are available on a first come, first serve basis. There is also free unlimited parking available in Neild Ave, Rushcutters Bay. Neild Ave is about a 7-8min walk from Dantosa Studio. Parking in this location is generally available most times of the day. Guest access Darlinghurst is one of Sydney's foodie destinations. Cuisine from all parts of the world is available at local restaurants and cafes. Bakeries and a fantastic ice cream shop (Sydney's best Gelato bar!) are all walking distance away. If you wish to cook yourself, the apartment has a newly renovated kitchenette with an oven, microwave and halogen cook top stove. A weekly growers market sells the best of produce so you can create your own delights in the apartment. Dantosa Studio apartment has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, TV, wifi and all the other modern conveniences you would expect of luxury apartment. It is located is a leafy, quiet part of Darlinghurst. When you're ready to relax, you can can close your door on busy Sydney and enjoy your own space in comfort. Please note Dantosa Studio apartment is on the 2nd floor of an Art Deco building. The 2nd floor access is via internal stairs (there is no elevator). It is a studio apartment with a living room containing a luxury queen-sized murphy bed. The kitchenette adjoins the living room. There is separate room with luxury murphy bunk beds. And separate shower and toilet bathrooms. Refer to the photos for more information. Also, do note that there is no dedicated parking provided with the apartment. There is limited street parking and for select stays, daily permits can be made available for some of the stay. There is parking (unlimited time) in Neild Ave which is about 4 blocks away - an 8-10 minute walk. Other things to note We want our guests to enjoy Dantosa Studio. Linen, towels, bathroom amenities, kitchen and cleaning solutions are provided, as well as WiFi, a flat screen TV, microwave, oven, dishwasher, kitchenware, coffee expresso machine, hair dryer, etc. There is a wardrobe for hanging clothes and some shelf space available.
