Situated on the top level of a large Mediterranean garden, Vista Ariadne is a hidden gem with amazing views of sea & sunset. Cosy & secluded, it's the perfect place to relax away from the crowds yet 5' from Naxos Town. Its huge picture windows and large private terrace - with no one else nearby - offer mesmerizing vistas of the crystal blue Aegean Sea, Agios Prokopios Beach & Paros Island. Vista Ariadne is the secret you won't want to share so it’ll be all yours when you return. The space From the moment you enter the property with its lush Mediterranean garden and olive grove you will start to feel its magical effects. After climbing a few steps to this hideaway you will be rewarded with a million dollar vista and privacy. The panoramic view has been described by guests as comparable to being on a cruise liner’s bridge, located on the ship’s 20th floor. There is no better place in all of Naxos to take in the spectacular sea and sunset views, away from the crowds. The soothing sounds of the waves will lull you to sleep, and you’ll wake up to the melodies of the birds’ morning songs. Although a favorite for couples because of the majestic view and absolute privacy, our very pretty and comfortable open-plan studio is also ideal for solo travelers and families of up to three persons. The indoor space is 26 m2 (280 ft²) and includes two built-in beds (double and single, both very comfy), a well-equipped kitchenette with drinkable water and ample closet space. Its spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower. The breathtaking view can be enjoyed from all areas of the home - including the beds!) through the 6.5m (21 ft.) wall of windows. Two exterior light-blocking awnings can be lowered manually to limit the morning light from entering the studio. The large private terrace (35m2, 375 ft2) more than doubles the available space. Three more manually operated awnings allow you to fully control the terrace’s sun and wind exposure essentially converting it into a spacious living area, with wicker furniture, hammock and wooden lounge chairs and sun beds, making it the perfect place to spend your days and nights relaxing and taking in the mesmerizing view. You may well feel like you have the best seats in the house attending a live performance with the Aegean Sea, the Cycladic islands and the sky as the stage. Enjoy the breathtaking 180° panoramic view. Point out eleven of the Cycladic islands as follows, (from left (S) to right (N)): Irakleia, Santorini, Ios, Sikinos, Folegandros, Paros, Syros, Andros, Tinos, Delos and Mykonos. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening glass of wine as you watch the fishing boats casting and later reeling in their nets. On a calm day keep an eye out for the family of playful dolphins that sometimes seek refuge in the bay below. Every sunset is unique, and the majestic view as the sun dips below the horizon could very well steal you away from any plans you might make to be elsewhere during the early evening. At night gaze at the stars in the sky and the twinkling lights of Paros across the way. This secluded private nook awaits your arrival. Other things to note Naxos’ water is not drinkable however no worries! You will enjoy the convenience of drinking water without having to stock it yourself! Vista Ariadne has a special faucet in its kitchenette with drinkable water (water system: 6-stage reverse osmosis). Vista Ariadne is located at the top level of a large garden and olive grove and next to a Natura 2000 area, a network of protected areas covering Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats. As such, don’t be surprised: a. in the event you see endemic species that wander onto out property and/or b. by the presence of the occasional insect.
