Eilean Oir Croft Self-Catering, Edinbane

Stay with us at Eilean Oir croft at ‘Island at the Edge’ Edinbane on the Isle of Skye. Our Net Zero self catering static caravan (Mobile Home) sleeps 4 and is situated within a working croft (small farm) with views across Loch Greshornish with access to the sea shore. Accommodation comprises : one bedroom with king size bed + en-suite, one twin bedroom, lounge, dining area, kitchen and shower room with toilet. Central heating. A warm and very comfortable home from home while on Skye. The space As we are a working farm sadly we are unable to accept dogs or children. Guest access Access to the property for check-in is strictly between 4:00-6:00pm as we see our guests into the property personally and safely. Later check-in is only possible by prior arrangement due to Croft/farm commitments. We offer Croft Tours, courses including knitting, crochet and spinning which is available at 'Island at the Edge', there is also a farm shop offering wool/yarn, crafts, and knitwear. Other things to note Because we are completely Net Zero we ask that you use energy wisely when staying us. We are ideally located to access most of the iconic places of interest to visit on Skye. We are approximately 14 miles from Portree and 8 miles from Dunvegan. We are within easy walking distance to the village of Edinbane where there are two excellent restaurants. Occasionally we will be using farm machinery during our daily work. The machinery may be parked within sight of the property from time to time. You may also hear some of the farm animals in the fields close to the property. Further unique benefits of staying on our farm: we have a visiting beautician, you can also join one of our Croft tours to meet the animals and learn about what we do here. Guests staying in our accommodation receive a 10% discount on the Croft Tours (booking in advance is necessary) and in our farm shop. You will have access to our shore (sea loch) where you can fish from our Jetty (free rod and tackle) or use our Canadian canoe for paddling out on the loch, or even go wild swimming in the sea. Hen and Duck eggs are also available, where you can ‘pick your own’ 😊 free of charge. We are unable to change the location of the property so please make sure the location is suitable for you.
