THE RED CITY
Description
Only 5 minutes from the exotic ZOCO and the popular JAMAA EL FNA SQUARE, a world heritage site and the nerve center of the city. The RIAD is located in the area where the famous mosque is located - Zaouia de Sidi Bel Abbaes, a 17th century building that houses the tomb of one of the seven saints of Marrakech, Sidi Bel Abbes, (BAB TAGHZOUT) and which is also the only mosque where you can visit its inner courtyard. The space This RIAD is my home and I restored it with great care and enthusiasm, as you can see in every corner. We had the help of local craftsmen and we used traditional materials such as tadelakt, zellij, bejmat and plinta tchrajem tl gebs. In addition, we have preserved all the original material that we have been able to restore, such as wrought iron grilles, carved doors (bab) and door hardware. The bedding is of high quality and 400 thread count cotton, and the towels are Portuguese cotton. It is important to mention that on the terrace of the RIAD I have an independent studio that I use when I am in Marrakech. However, as I travel a lot, it is unlikely that we will coincide. If this were to be the case, you would only have to use the main door to enter and exit, as I will be out working all day. The rest of the RIAD will be exclusive to you during your stay. Guest access The RIAD is divided into three floors. On the ground floor you will find a patio with a traditional fountain in the center, two living rooms, one with a fireplace, a guest toilet and a kitchen. On the first floor there are two en suite rooms overlooking the patio and garden, very bright and with air conditioning and heating. On the second floor you will find a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and plants, as well as a lookout from which you can contemplate the snowy Atlas from November. From Monday to Friday, you will have a cleaning lady in the morning who will clean the common areas, such as the rooms, the living room, the patio, the terrace and the kitchen. This service is included in the price. (This service will not be provided on national holidays).
