Tathra Cottage - Rustic Farmstay

Located about 100 metres from the Tathra Homestead, "Tathra Cottage" is a cosy, mud-brick cottage with cathedral ceilings that offers a rustic farm stay experience. The cottage sleeps two adults and is set in its own Sam Cox The landscaped Australian native garden high on a hill with stunning views all round. It has a queen sized bed (with pillow-top mattress), wood fire, and colonial out-door shower fitted with a wood-fired hot-water system. You’ll enjoy complete privacy and ambience. The space Tathra Cottage is a dog friendly farmstay and is fitted with a full kitchen with a microwave/convection oven, gas stove top, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster and hot water jug for tea. The Cottage also has its very own private spa. For those guests who love to travel with their dog, there is also a secure area for your dog within the Cottage grounds and under the Cottage roofline to provide guests with somewhere secure to leave their dog when visiting attractions in the local area. Guests wishing to bring their dog are also asked to have their dog under positive control at all times when wandering outside the Cottage grounds as our ducks, geese and chickens free-range their way around the property but not within the fenced area around the Cottage. Guests are also asked to clean-up after their dogs as a condition of booking acceptance. Guest access While you have your own native garden in the Cottage grounds guests are also free to walk through the Homestead's gardens and orchards as well as the paddocks and interconnecting lane ways. Guests also have access to the communal spa located close by the Homestead. During your stay We generally leave our guests to their own privacy but are more than happy to have a chat and even the occasional red wine in front of the fire to exchange stories / experiences. Other things to note Please note that a self-cook breakfast can be supplied if we are notified at least 24-48 hours in advance, at no additional cost. The breakfast includes bacon, eggs, hash browns, bread, full cream milk and juice, butter and jams and are only provided for the first morning of your stay. Guests are responsible for providing their own breakfast from the second morning onwards.
