A raised deck with outdoor seating at the beachfront creates a natural flow between the bedrooms, living space and outdoors. The Retreats main level follows an open-plan style, lending itself to shared living. The kitchen, lounge, and indoor and outdoor dining flow into one another, with sliding doors and vast windows disrupting the distinction between nature and home. Stone tiled floors and wide windows utilise the sea-breeze to cool the home in the heat of summer. A gas fireplace and underfloor heating in the main living room warms the home from its core in the winter.
