Situated right at the end of the bay.....the best location on the beach! Picture perfect views and only a few steps down to the Palm tree lined, 1km paradise beach! There are three simple, basic, clean and comfortable double rooms (one upstairs) - each have their own shower and toilet. Our in house cook makes excellent, home cooked food. The space If you are looking for a relaxing Beach holiday and Villa, you can't beat this! Situated on the Southern tip of Sri Lanka, Talalla Bay Beach House is somewhere you will never want to leave! This 4 bedroomed (all ensuite), simple and basic fantastic house is on one of the most unspoilt beaches you will ever find. Down a few steps from the house and stretching for about 1km, the palm tree lined beach is perfect for a leisurely late night stroll topped off with glass of chilled wine or delicious juice at the end. Whether having a breakfast of wonderful fruits and curd or listening to the sound of the waves eating a delicious Sri Lankan homemade curry, (all from local produce or catch of the day), this is an excellent place to relax and unwind. Nilmini, our charming cook, has become famous for her Dinners and it will all be presented to you on the big table within the outside dining area looking over the beach. We are located 20 mins away from the surf village of Hiriketiya, 30 mins from Mirissa, 1hr 30 mins from Galle and 2hrs 30mins away from Yala National Park. Hiriketiya, the famous beach village, is 20mins away with many great restaurants like ''Smoke and Bitters''. Mirissa is a little beach town about 30 mins from Talalla, on the way to Galle, where you can have a a lovely meal at a few restaurants on the beach and if its the correct season you can go whale watching too! Approx 30mins away, Matara, a bustling town with a few good supermarkets, many shops and an Old Dutch Fort. Only 1hr 30 mins away is the UNESCO World Heritage, Old, Dutch Fort in Galle. This is an excellent place that has fantastic restaurants and a few excellent shops. Wonderful to visit. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, Yala National Park is around 2hrs 30 mins away and is most famous for the highest concentration of leopards in one area. Also Udawalawe National Park where you can see many Elephants. Guest access Step right out of the house and onto the beach. Its almost more of a boat than a house! You can use any areas of the House that you wish except, obviously, for the occupied rooms. During your stay Well, your main point of contact with be with Nilmini who cooks really good and original food all from fresh local ingredients. Management (Emma) will pop by from time to make sure everything is ok. Otherwise we just leave you to enjoy! Other things to note Its all about RELAXING! Yoga (possibly next door for a fee), surfing (For a fee. Local area), massages (for a fee nearby), temples and beach life! As with all oceans please be aware of the dangers of the waves, currents and rocks.
