The region, known as the retreat of various artists, is about 25 minutes by car from the Imperial Baths and beaches. The quiet location on the steep coast of the Achterwasser with a small swimming spot is a nice contrast if you want to relax after a visit to the lively lake resorts. Lieper Winkel is known by cyclists, hikers, and riders. There are a whole bunch of signposted paths. A stop at a small restaurant with local products or with a potter complete the trip.
