The Bunkhouse @ Roses River Ranch

The bunkhouse is a rustic, elegant cabin outside Blanco toward San Marcos. It's a cozy, secluded ranch house with a double carport attached to a large deck that overlooks a pasture of longhorns, deer, exotic birds and wildlife. We have just put it back on Airbnb after closing it for a short while to update it! We look forward to having new guests and hope they enjoy the hill country ambience! The space The bunkhouse @ Roses River Ranch is a very comfortable yet elegant country setting for anyone who needs to "just get away" for a short period, slow down, and relax . It comfortably accommodates four people and has all the comforts of home. Dish and Wifi are available along with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is a full kitchen w microwave. Coffee, tea, juice, milk and muffins are provided. Check in time is 3 o'clock and check out is noon. Wimberley and Canyon Lake are both approximately 10-18 miles away. The bunkhouse is also centrally located for visiting local wineries near Johnson City, Fredericksburg, and New Braunfels. Gruene historic district and dancehall is approximately 28 miles from the bunkhouse straight up Hiway 306 past Canyon Lake. A jaunt to Austin is 50 miles north while San Antonio is 45 miles south. You are truly in the heart of Texas with the best of the Hill County in every direction. Guest access Upon arrival Earl or I will greet you and briefly answer any questions you have about the place or area. We live within a mile of the bunkhouse so we are accessible if you need us for any reason. We respect your privacy so you probably won't see us unless you need us for one reason or another. We have an unfenced 3-4 foot deep pond in the front area so due to the danger of young children accidently falling in, we do not rent to children under 12. We would be devastated if anything happened to a young child while the family was staying with us. Our pet policy is also not to have pets as our guests even though we love animals. Other things to note We will leave two keys for you for the back deck door on the bar near the coffee maker . You can lock the front door and exit out the back into the carport.
