"The Minnehaha" - Cozy Suite On The Light Rail!

"The Minnehaha" is the site of a future boutique hostel, currently guests have the opportunity to rent the lower level to themselves! Commercially zoned along the historic Minnehaha Mile - 2 blocks from the Light Rail and minutes from both the Airport and Downtown. Safe parking, free laundry and large private outdoor area for guests. Plenty of coffee spots, grocery stores, bars and restaurants within walking distance or Metro Transit. Very bike friendly. Safe neighborhood, perfect location! The space "The space looks a bit more like a hotel suite than anything else". It's a gorgeous basement.. We're different than most Airbnb's in that we live here, we maintain, we clean and we ruminate. We really care! Completely separate from owners, you'll have about 600 sq feet of indoor AND large separate outdoor area to enjoy. It's old! (1910) so it's funky, unique and perfectly imperfect. SUPER CLEAN. Super cozy. Set up perfectly for couples, friends, parents/kids with the common area separating the two sleeping areas. If you're wanting to spend most of your time indoors, looking for tall ceilings or large rooms with communal seating this will not be a good fit. If you value clean space, prime location, value, private outdoor space and a safe neighborhood you found it! Two bedrooms (1 queen bed, the other a set of twin bunks), one private 3/4 bathroom, a dining room/kitchenette, reading area and large (shared) laundry room. The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker (Complimentary coffee), Culligan water dispenser and most other things you'll need unless you think of something and let me know and then I will get you that thing :) Guest access Entry is keyless and a code will be provided prior to check-in. Other things to note **PLEASE READ** This property was previously a duplex and has since been converted back to a single-family home. There's no longer a formal cooking area in the rental portion, however there is a full kitchenette as described. This is technically the basement level of a home built in 1910, so ceiling height for this space can be ~7 feet in some areas and a rather tall person will notice this feature pretty quickly. That being said, there's about 600 square feet of indoor space and plenty of private outdoor space for guests to enjoy! There's one TV located in the 1st bedroom, however there is currently no "family room" setting in which everyone could get together and watch something together.
