Favignana is located in the marine nature reserve of the Egadi Islands, it is the largest island of the archipelago, 9 miles from Trapani (20 minutes by hydrofoil or 1 hour by ferry if you bring your car). From Trapani it is well connected by highway, ports and airports of Trapani BIRGI 30 km away or Palermo PUNTA RAISI 90 km away. Maritime connections allow you to take day trips to the other two islands Marettimo and Levanzo, or to visit Marsala, Mozia, the Saline, Erice and Trapani. The first impression of the island is fantastic. Arriving at the port of Favignana, you immediately reach the town, the fishermen's harbor and the tourist port, the monumental buildings that belonged to the Florio family, owners of the island until the last century (the Pretti, the Palazzina liberty, the church, the Camparia and the magnificent former tuna processing plant and today a museum).
