Cringle Cottage

Comfortable Victorian town cottage on three floors. Fully furnished and equipped for up to six people (please note, however, that there is only one bathroom). Walking distance from town centre and ferries, but on a quiet side street with very little passing traffic. A great place to feel part of the yachting life of Cowes, to have walking-distance access to Cowes-based organisations including UKSA and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation or as a base to explore the beautiful Isle of Wight. The space Although compact, this is a complete house with a small paved, terraced garden and decking area, with space for a family. It also has bags of character, from the steep winding staircase to the attic room to the sound of the seagulls in the morning. Guest access Guests are able to use the whole house and the small, secluded yet sunny back garden and decked patio (there is a locked cupboard in the top bedroom). As in all properties of this age, stairs are steep and narrow so only suitable for fully-able guests. Cottages in this part of Cowes have no dedicated parking space but free spaces can usually be found on the streets nearby. There is also a pay carpark close by. Other things to note - Please note that the cottage is not safe nor suitable for very young children and persons with reduced mobility (very steep and narrow stairs). - Bedlinen and towels (kitchen, bath and beach) are provided. - We have a contract with a window cleaner, who comes once a month. We never know, however, which day or at what time. The windows are cleaned from the outside only, on the street side.
