Cabin in Timber

The beautiful Nehalem River flows through this spacious and serene property bordering the Tillamook State Forest. The light-filled 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a well-appointed kitchen is perched just above the river with a view from the large deck of lush native forest. The space Enjoy cocktails by the woodstove in the evening, grill your favorite meal on the deck, play badminton, bocci, or frisbee on the expansive front lawn, amble down to the river, and sleep to the sounds of river songs. Historic Reeher's Camp and the Gales Creek Trail are a short hike up the road, and hundreds of miles of gravel state forest roads await your exploration by bike or foot. Guest access The full 5 acres on the house side of the river are yours to explore. There is ample parking and you will be given a code to the front door. There are no businesses in the nearby hamlet of Timber, only homes, so stock up on the food and libations that you will need. If you do need to make a supply run, a convenience store is located about 5 miles away on Highway 26 at Timber Rd. Other things to note Cochran Rd is paved in Timber, but turns to gravel 1.5 miles before you get to the cabin. It should be passable for any car or bike, but please drive slowly past residences to avoid kicking up too much dust.
