The city center can be reached within 18 minutes by bus 33. The SBB train station can be reached within 10-12 minutes by bus 48. The airport can be reached within 18-21 minutes by bus 36 and 50. The Messe Basel can be reached within 21-29 minutes by bus/tram. The space B&B - "chez nous" - 5th Floor/étage - without elevator The room on the 4th floor is clean and nicely decorated. You sleep on the garden side. Kettle and Nespresso coffee machine available, tea and coffee capsule available. Since the room is located under the roof, it can get very warm in the summer. A generous breakfast is offered on the first floor and served between 7:30 am and 9:00 am. Breakfast consists of homemade bread, yogurt and jam, fruit or fruit salad, butter, ham, cheese and eggs. Plus coffee, tea and orange juice. Extra requests will be charged and collected directly in cash. For dinner, there are numerous restaurants nearby, or you can eat at table d'hôtes - "chez Colette" in our house. (Registration required) Dinner starts at 6:30 pm, no later than 7:00 pm, and ends no later than 10:00 pm. We serve according to choice: 3-course menu for CHF 55.00 or 4-course menu at CHF 65.00 Price includes drinks and coffee The amount is to be paid in cash. We also cook vegetarian but not vegan! Other things to note Public parking is available near the house. At the bus stop, there is the possibility of buying a day parking ticket (CHF 20.00) The mandatory guest tax in Basel is per person per night CHF 4.20.
