The delightful apartment is on the first floor of the prestigious 17th-century Personè building, in the heart of Lecce's historic center, completely renovated, elegant, refined, very comfortable and available all year round. The space The location is truly privileged, we are in the heart of the most authentic Lecce and its Baroque, a few dozen meters from the Church of Santa Croce and Piazza Sant'Oronzo, which can be seen from the wonderful terrace. The apartment is accessed from a private door on the very central Via Umberto I°, at the top of the stairs the landing leads to the first room which is occupied by an entrance hall from which, via a ladder, you can access an attic with a delightful small additional bedroom. In this entrance, an ancient fireplace is beautifully displayed, on the left there is a service room and in front you enter the dining area with a large kitchenette, equipped with a dishwasher. In the living room, two comfortable armchairs form the conversation and TV corner with the sofa. The bedroom is very pleasant with its antique furniture and a private bathroom, brand new and complete with all bathroom fixtures and shower. The second bathroom is accessed from the kitchen. The terrace, for exclusive use, is enchanting! Ancient stone basins and large vases accommodate flowers and vines; a large gazebo with table, chairs and benches also allows you to have breakfast, lunch or dinner outdoors. From the terrace, a spiral staircase leads to the upper terrace, also completely private, where there is a belvedere from which you can enjoy the privileged view of the wonderful façade of the Basilica of Santa Croce. All the most significant events take place nearby and on festive evenings, comfortably seated on the terrace, you can savor concerts, shows, while all the vitality of Salento flows beneath the house.
