North Durras Beach Cottage

Private, secluded cottage in beautiful North Durras. Located within gorgeous Murramarang National Park with walking trails starting just outside the front door including the newly opened Murramarang South Coast Walk. North Durras Beach and Durras Lake are both just down the road. Perfect if you want to be active and get out and about or just take it easy and relax in peace and quiet. Also a great overnight option if you're hiking the Murramarang South Coast walk. The space The cottage consists of a spacious, light-filled studio/bedroom with attached en-suite. A small deck out the front looking onto the garden contains an outdoor table and chairs and BBQ for guest use. The space is perfect for a couple or someone travelling alone. Also happy to accept parent(s) with single child/infant/baby, or single parent with older child. Guest access Feel free to use the garden area - although you may need to share with the local population of Grey Kangaroos. A semi-outdoor shower is also available under the main house for rinsing off after trips to the beach if required. Or just use the garden hose! Kayaks are available for use on the lake. Laundry facilities are also available for a small fee. Other things to note The cottage does not contain a fully equipped kitchen although a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster are provided inside and a BBQ out on the verandah. Facilities for washing dishes are also provided although larger quantities can be done in the laundry nearby if needed where there is more room. Note that we use unfiltered rainwater as we are not on town supply. If this is an issue please bring drinking water and/or boil before use A small store/cafe is located just across the road in one of the local Caravan Parks which has basic supplies - but is closed outside main holiday periods. This means that, aside from a couple of service stations on the Princes Highway, the nearest place for supplies, meals etc is Batemans Bay - approximately 20 minutes' drive away.
