Set on the banks of the Vasse River, Fairlawn Estate is private and exclusive/gated Estate. Fairlawn Estate is situated on a 2000 acre working farm that perfectly bridges a gateway between past and present. First owned by the John and Georgiana Molloy, the main homestead was built in 1840, and was the first dwelling built in the district. This opulent homestead contains 1000m2 of floor space. The suite available is 30m2 of pure indulgence with coffee machine, toaster, kettle and bar fridge. Guest access Guests at Fairlawn Estate are able to experience private estate living on a working farm. Guests are welcome to wonder the gardens that were first established by world renowned botanist Georgiana Molloy. Guests are also welcome to sample the pleasures of the orchid. During your stay It is a working farm, so there is always someone around during the day to say hello :-) Other things to note No farming duties will be performed prior to 9:30am. Enjoy a sleep in on us :-) Fairlawn Estate, as the first dwelling built in the district, is a property oozing with historical charm and pieces. All guests need to be mindful that when visiting Fairlawn Estate, that they will encounter many items and flora that have great historical importance to the City of Busselton, the Wardandi People and early white settler history. We urge all guests be respectful of what Fairlawn Estate has to offer so that many more generations are able to enjoy the surrounds and property at Fairlawn Estate. Fairlawn Estate is a working farm. All guests need to be aware that when they are entering the property, they are more than likely to encounter wild animals, natural fauna and domesticated farm animals. All guests all need to be aware that farm machinery is also present on the property and may be in use when you visit. Biosecurity is also important to us at Fairlawn Estate. Littering at Fairlawn Estate is highly discouraged. For example, please be mindful that something as small as a cigarette butt can be harmful to our native fauna.
