Townhouse in Hammersmith

Large, light and spacious loft bedroom with a newly decorated ensuite shower room and only 5 minutes to the tube in Hammersmith. The space We are providing a large double bedroom and will suit either a couple or small family travelling together. This is for a bedroom in our 4 bedroom house that we currently live in. Our aim is to make your stay in London as comfortable and as pleasant as possible and that you take away wonderful memories of your stay and visit with us! We hope to be able to point you to the best foodies places, the unique markets and even the gems in the touristy spots. If you are not here to sight-see but are looking for a temporary home whilst you set yourselves up in this lovely city we now call home, we hope to be able to point you to all the various neighbourhoods in London (as between us, I think we've lived pretty much all of London!) and provide you with as much guidance and assistance as you wish. The room is of good size and there is a newly built ensuite shower room within the bedroom (ensuite). Ther is also plenty of storage in the room. The room has an abundance of natural light is simply furnished with a double bed and have clean and comfortable sheets over them. The loft bedroom has a queen sized bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and an armchair with footrest to sit and relax at the end of the day with ample space for luggage and all your shopping that you might have. There is also a fold out sofa in the room for a child who is travelling with their parents in this room. There is an ensuite shower room in the room for the sole use of guests. We do not provide to guests any cooking facilities and use of the kitchen as it is on a room only basis we are providing our rooms for rent. There is wifi (internet connection) in the house and will be available for use by the guests if they bring along their gadgets. Please note that check-ins on a weekday are after 6:30pm and at the weekends we are more flexible with timings and check-outs on a weekday are before 9am and again, at the weekends more flexible but we hope to get back the room by noon for housekeeping. If you are wanting to check-in or check-out outside of these times, please do enquire first. Do not sulk if we say no or ask for our keys back in the morning as you've read the rules; so play by them please! We hope the unique position of our home will allow you to explore London to it's fullest without having to fork out a premium for staying right in Central London as we are just a 5 minute walk to either Hammersmith or Barons Court station (Zone 2, Piccadilly, District, Circle and Hammersmith and City line) - perfect for sightseeing in the capital. 5 minutes walk to Queens Tennis club 10 mins tube to Harrods, V&A and the Natural History Museum 10 mins tube to the world renowned Kew Gardens (for the garden buffs) 10 mins tube to Portobello Market/Notting Hill 15 mins bus ride to Westfield Shopping Centre 15 mins tube to Green Park/Mayfair/Picadilly Circus 20 mins tube to the British Museum/Trafalgar Square/National Gallery 35 mins tube to Tower of London/Tower Bridge 40 mins direct tube to Heathrow Airport Finally, the £300 security deposit held on your credit card is to cover the lost/no-return of keys. The reason why it's such a high amount is that it includes the cost of changing the locks - which for our security sake, will be done if keys have been lost or have not been returned to us (even if later returned at a later date). Guest access Guests have access to their bedroom and the ensuite shower room. During your stay We also aim to be home to welcome our guests and they are free to ask us any questions or queries they might have regarding London and the neighbourhood.
