Rose Room at Woodhaven Farm

Woodhaven farm is a privately owned 40 acre farm located in southwest Ohio about an hour and a half from Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus, Ohio. Now retired, we live a quiet life raising a few beef and chickens. About half of our property is wooded with Oak, Maple, Beech, Cherry, Paw Paw, Hickory, Walnut, Red Bud, and Dog Wood. In the springtime, we have an abundance of wild flowers, especially the large white Trillium. Our special interest is the planting of native trees and shrubs. The space The Rose Room is located on the first floor of our country home and features a queen size bed, fully accessible private bath with step-in shower, walk in closet, comfy recliner and rocking chair. The Rose Room also has it's own outside entry door and private covered porch. Guest access On occasion, other guest may be in our home when the Rose Room is occupied. This most likely would only happen during holidays or special events days. This would not affect the amenities and privacy of the Rose Room. All guest are encouraged to "make themselves at home" in our shared common areas, including the Great Room, The Galley Kitchen, the dining areas, common porches and the yard. During your stay Woodhaven Farm is our home, so we are always on site and available to answer questions and offer recommendation for area sites. We are in and out of the common areas of our home throughout the day, but also able to retire to our private rooms during the evening, leaving our guest to enjoy the comfort of the great room where there is a TV, DVD player for movies or just relaxing. The galley kitchen is always open for snacking and beverage. Other things to note Our home is quite spacious, and so with pre-discussion, we welcome our guest to entertain a few friends or family who may live in our area, so their visit may be more enjoyable and relaxing.
