Come and recharge your batteries in our pretty, typical Sologne renovated farmhouse, close to Chambord (20 minutes) and Lamotte-Beuvron (10 minutes). The old farmhouse, which has 4 buildings, dates back to the 12th century! Whether you're quiet, sporty or a foodie, everything is possible in Sologne! The space The Ferme des Iles dates back to the 12th century! It is the historic farm of the village castle. And a little local pride, this castle was offered by Napoleon I to Joséphine de Beauharnais (1800). Located at eastern end of the village, the house is quiet, with no close neighbors. It is an "equestrian" property, on about ten hectares. The "Le Beuvron" river runs down the moor, in the pony meadow... Access to the Sologne forest is everywhere around, on foot, by bike, on horseback... The property has 4 buildings: - my parents' house - our house that we offer on Airbnb - the stable - a technical building Guest access Private access, parking spaces Private terrace Wood pellet stove Access to the river from the property for strolling or even fishing Shared access to the pool: the pool is located on the side of my parents' house. You have to cross the yard and pass in front of their home to access it. We ask guests to respect the lives of local residents regarding hours of use. PLEASE NOTE: Sologne does not benefit from the climate of the French Riviera ;) Other things to note Many hikes or walks start from the accommodation on the GR of the "Sologne à Vélo". We have a dozen bikes available for rent.
